Richard Girard
I am a graduate of LaSalle University with an MBA in accounting, former president of the Hatfield Area Little League and a resident of Hatfield Borough for over 40 years. Currently, I am the Vice President of Borough Council and also serve as chairman of the Hatfield Economic Revitalization Opportunity Committee and the Utilities and Public Works Committee and am a member of the Budget, Labor and Finance Committee working to ensure that our annual budget is balanced without undue burden on our residents and ensuring that our borough funds are managed to our advantage in a sound and responsible manner.
Together with my wife, the Mayor, we have also introduced a new community welcoming program called Hatfield Hello which is used to acquaint our new residents to various civic and social aspects of the Hatfield Borough community.
